MP5 / MP5K CARE & MAINTENANCE
Break-in, inspection, cleaning, and owner support guidance for MP5 and MP5K-pattern platforms.
FITMENT FIRST
MP5-pattern firearms vary by manufacturer, model, pin/shelf pattern, tolerances, and configuration. Confirm your exact setup before assuming compatibility, and contact WHA if anything is unclear.
MP5 and MP5K support starts with host, lower, and fitment confirmation.
FUNCTION REVIEW
MP5 and MP5K-pattern platforms can vary significantly by manufacturer and setup. New builds, upgraded lowers, and newly configured systems should be inspected and function reviewed before extended use.
If the firearm has a dead trigger, failure to reset, bolt binding, inconsistent cycling, or abnormal wear, stop use and contact WHA support.
ROUTINE CARE
Keep inspection high-level and conservative. Use routine cleaning to identify visible debris, wear, fitment concerns, or anything that should be routed to WHA before continued use.
SUPPRESSED SETUPS
Suppressed MP5-pattern setups can change how the firearm cycles. Depending on configuration, ammunition, suppressor, and host firearm, tuning or locking piece review may be needed. If you are unsure which configuration is appropriate, stop and contact WHA before continued use.
This page does not provide a tuning chart or exact locking-piece recommendation. WHA support should review configuration questions before use.
LOWER CARE
Do not dry fire the lower while it is detached from the firearm. Dry firing a detached lower may damage components and may void warranty coverage.
If you are installing or inspecting a WHA Super Safety lower and are unsure about fitment, trip setup, pin/shelf pattern, or function, contact WHA before use.
WHA MP5 lower and component imagery supports the care note without creating a public technical manual.
SUPPORT ROUTING
Contact WHA before continued use if you experience dead trigger, failure to reset, bolt binding, abnormal wear, cycling issues, damaged components, or uncertainty about your setup.
Contact WHA before continued use. Photos, order details, and a phone number help support route your request quickly.
