Super Safety Basics

Approved WHA answers for Super Safety platform questions.
A Super Safety is a platform-specific trigger system designed for compatible firearm platforms. WHA offers Super Safety solutions for AR-15 and MP5-pattern firearms using platform-specific components and configurations.
No. A Super Safety and an FRT are different systems that operate differently. However, both are designed to achieve a similar result when installed on compatible platforms.
Super Safety systems utilize AR-15 fire control components. MP5-pattern firearms require a compatible lower designed to accept these components.
Yes, provided the trigger components have been properly modified for Super Safety operation. Standard Geissele trigger components are not drop-in compatible with Super Safety systems without the required modifications.
MP5K platforms operate at a significantly higher cyclic rate than full-size MP5 platforms. Due to the increased operating speed, Geissele trigger configurations are generally not recommended for MP5K applications.
